Italian Cavalry Trooper's Sword
Description
Italian Cavalry Trooper's Sword. The hilt has a heavy sheet steel guard with a tear drop cutout and a raised section for the thumb. The grip appears to be a hard rubber compound and the back strap is half flat, stamped G9509 and half rounded with checkering leading to a oval shaped domed pommel. The blued, slightly curved, pipe backed blade has a double edged spear point and stamped MA on the right ricasso.
