Fokker D.VII Aircraft identification plate
Description
Metal identification plate 91 x 25 mm from a Fokker D.VII manufactured by Albatros GMBH, Schneidemuhl. The plate has a hole in each corner for attaching to the airframe. The text is surrounded by a raised line and reads: Albatros, Gesellschaft fur Flugzeug unternehmungen m.b.H. Berlin, Werke Schneidemuhl, Type FOK D7, No. 2671. The letters are raised with the Type "FOK D7" and No. "2671" stamped into the plate. The plate indentified the aircraft by the werke nummer 2671.
