Description

Pattern 1853 Artillery Carbine, 2nd Model. Lock marked Crown over VR and 1862 over Tower. Butt stamped with the Tower Armoury roundel. Tang engraved crown over SA 45. Stock maker J Jagger. Barrel has London proof marks. The bayonet boss is stamped 48 which would originally have matched the bayonet number. It is complete with swivels, white buff leather sling and original ramrod also marked 45.
