Raketenpanzerbuchse 54 Rocket Launcher
Raketenpanzerbuchse 54 Rocket Launcher. Tubular construction with a front heat shield that has a small clear glass window to view the front post and rear notch sights. A spare glass window is fitted in a small compartment at the rear of the shield. It has a pressed steel shoulder rest, pistol grip trigger combination and a forward hand grip attached to the underside of the firing tube. The rear of the tube has a conical cage for strength and ease of loading as well as an electrical contact device on the left side for firing the weapon. Overall repainted in an non-original brown ochre colour.
This rocket launcher was developed from the RPzB 43 and fitted with a protective shield. They were used as an antitank weapon by the German Army during the Second World War.
