Conflict Second World War, 1939-1945

Bert Bullock joined the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) in September 1940 and transferred to the Middle East with 148 Squadron in 1942. He was shot down on 4 September 1942 over Tobruk and was kept as a prisoner of war (POW) of the Germans in Stalag VlllB (Germany). This item is a brief handwritten record of Bullock's movements during the January to March 1945 forced march through Lamsdorf. He records the date, place, distance covered and the daily rations.
