Collection relating to the service of Corporal W C Gamble of 25 Machine Gun Company. The collection consists of an extract from the autobiography of Corporal Gamble, entitled "War 1914-1918". The typescript Includes an account of Gamble's account of the shooting down of "The Red Baron's plane" Baron von Richthofen and also his wounding and repatriation and continued rehabilitation.
