Photocopy of handwritten unit history for No 5 Airfield Construction Squadron (5th Task Force Engineers) 62 Airfield Construction Wing. This includes history of the unit's formation and subsequent movements, anecdotes & maps. Also a spiral bound typed unit history "The Flying Shovels" part one covers the South West Pacific Theatre of War 1945 to 1950. There are two addendums to this history, an introduction and historical outline.
