Incendie des Halles d'Ypres
Description
Ypres Cloth Hall, or Lakenhalle, was set on fire in November 1914 by German artillery shells. Cloth Hall was eventually reduced to rubble by 1917, but has since been restored.
Belle smith, who served as a nurse during the First World War, brought this print back to Australia from France.
