Army Days Early 40's
Description
"Uneeda" brand sketchbook used by Ernest Marcuse (1900 – 1985) during his service in the Australian Army during the Second World War.
It contains 32 unidentified studies and portraits in pencil of Army personnel, surgical and dental instruments. Inside the front cover is one loose drawing of a group of civilian men drawn in the Adelaide Hills in the 40's possibly unrelated to the sketchbook.
