Description

White Ring Combat Services Support Mission (1). The first in a series of seven videos filmed during the Mission by Captain Jason Otter, C Squadron, 5th Aviation Regiment (5 Avn Regt) from the cockpit of Australian Army CH-45D Chinook A15-106. Captain Otter later noted:
"Flying Pilot Captain Michael (Mick) Whitney right hand pilot station. This imagery commences as our aircraft departs the circuit area at Kamp Holland (Multinational Base Tarin Kowt) to the west. An Australian C130 Hercules, callsign Mambo32, is turning a low base to land to the east when the automatic self protection system on board activates and flares are dispensed as a decoy (1 sec). As we pass in the opposite direction to Mambo traffic we cross the built up area of Tarin Kot enroute for Buluchi".
