Laayoune, Western Sahara. An ambulance in the Swiss Medical Unit's compound being operated by the Swiss and five personnel. The Swiss Medical Unit is a contingent provided to MINURSO (United Nations Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara). In the backgound can be seen accommodation that was originally constructed for United Nations (UN) personnel, but was never made available to them by the local authorities.
