Eta Jima, Japan. 1947-11-26. Portion of the dependents of BCOF personnel housing area showing boiler house chimney stack. Nearby is the large boiler brought to Eta Jima by barge. Lower right of picture shows boundary security fence under construction. This is a concrete wall six feet high which will have angle iron supports and barbed wire on top of it.
