Description
Manuscript titled `Some Recollections of World War II in the Pacific Area' (including later amended version), describing compulsory army service and later enlistment in the RAAF as a radar mechanic. Sergeant Thomas was posted to various radar stations in New Guinea including Normanby Island and Biak, as well as to Mildura and Nelson Bay.
