Continuation of Sgt Mike Colderidge's colour coverage of Operation Ainslie. To deny the Viet Cong supplies Vietnamese families were resettled to the new village of Ap Suoi Nghe. Sgt Colderidge personally purchased the Kodachrome stock to film in colour. Shows The new Village sign. Two local girls talking, a heap of pumpkins and the new village in the background. Close ups of the girls. Villagers move towards the camera as they go to their houses. Back view of the villagers moving into their new houses. Australian soldiers buy soft drinks at one of the new shops in the village. Close up of the women behind the soft drink and Bierre Le Rue stall. A local man builds a chicken coop from bamboo shingles, a young boy assists him. Wide shot of locals receiving treatment from the Australian Medical Civic Aid Program (MEDCAP) team. Close up of 16685 Sgt Peter Hulsing, 1st Australian Civil Affairs Unit of Holsworthy NSW as he examines a little girl. A Vietnamese man arrives for subsequent treatment, presents his treatment card to 311528 Lieutenant Barrie Bradshaw, 1st Australian Civil Affairs Unit of Mosman, NSW who is the interpreter with the MEDCAP team. The treatment cards were issued to locals by the Australians for reference purposes. The same man is examined by 15135 Sgt Donald Rushan, 1st Australian Civil Affairs Unit of Canungra QLD. The man receives an injection from 61458 Sgt Allan Michael (Mike) Priest , 1st Australian Civil Affairs Unit of Lenah Valley, TAS. Locals moving past a heap of pumpkins. The main road into the village, a Land Rover moves along the muddy road. Local women move a box of ice. Wide shot of a local woman preparing lunch, then a shot of fish put into a frying pan, fish at their old village were a rarity.
