Loading tracers, Battembang
Description
Depicts Private Nigel Ellerton, RAR, 1st Battalion, United Nations Transitional Authority (UNTAC) loading tracers for rifles (bullets used to assist in aiming), while seated on the floor of a tent, surrounded by packs, trunks and a 5.56 Australian Steyr rifle. They were loaded for protecting the Skyhawk which flew the artist, George Gittoes, from Phnom Penh to Battambang in Cambodia.
