Description
Probably Alexandria, Egypt, c. 1915. A staff car with its driver and a senior officer, partly visible in the back seat, parked in a city street across the road from a shop owned by Charles Livadas, a "bookseller, stationer and fine art dealer" who also undertook "developing and printing, Kodaks, films." This is probably where many Australian amateur photographers had their camera film processed.
