Calgary, Alberta, Canada, c. 1942-07. Interior of the sleeping quarters for servicemen attending No. 2 Wireless School at the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) base at Calgary. At centre, four RAAF servicemen are sitting or lying on the top decks of the bunk beds. The man sitting up at right in the white pyjamas is Sergeant William Bernard ("Bill") Kaus. The school was a facility for training servicemen of various nationalities as wireless air gunners under the Empire Air Training Scheme.
