Description

Colonel Arthur Butler gives the address at the Anzac Day Dawn Service in 1943. This was the first Dawn Service in Canberra that was coordinated by the Returned & Services League (RSL). Arthur Butler was the first medical officer to land on the Gallipoli Peninsula and later wrote the three volume official history of the Australian Army Medical Services. A transcript is available.
