RAF Station Ford Sussex, England. C. 1944-03. During a visit to No. 453 (Spitfire) Squadron RAAF, the Duke of Gloucester, inspected the squadron and chatted with some of the aircrew. The Commanding Officer of the Squadron, Squadron Leader D. G. Andrews DFC (centre) accompanied the Duke during the inspection.
