Collection relating to the Second World War service of VX9534 Lieutenant John Desmond "Johnny" "Des" Peck DCM, 2/7 Australian Infantry Battalion, Second Australian Imperial Force, Australia, Palestine, Greece, Crete, Italy, Switzerland and England, 1939-c. 2000.

Series 5 contains 2 wallets.

Wallet 2 of 2 – Contains correspondence and papers concerning partisan work, 1944-1972. Included in this collection are photographs of the Barbero pastrycook’s shop, Esther and Oreste Barbero with John Desmond Peck, and other related images.

The collection additionally contains newspaper clippings, including an excerpt from the New Statesman and Nation June 2, 1945.
