Kure to Hiroshima Road, Japan. 1953-02-53. Major E. C. Dunn, Officer Commanding British Commonwealth Amenities Unit, and lodge members of the Buffalo Lodge No. 30 British Commonwealth Occupation Force (BCOF) remove their hats and pay their respect during the unveiling of the monument to Captain J. F. Smith, Royal Australian Army Service Corps, killed when a BCOF bus carrying lodge members ran off the road into the sea on its return trip from a lodge meeting at Iwakuni on 1949-06-25.
