Description
1. Collection consisting of original 1916 diary (and transcript) written when Corporal Holmes was serving with 13th Field Artillery Brigade, a copy of a play that was written about the day to day operations of an artillery brigade, Certificate of temporary commission with the Royal Air Force in 1918, 1942 RAAF Commission Certificate and the original diary and transcript covering the period 1942-1943 when Flight Lieutenant Holmes was with 33 Squadron in Papua. 2. 1900 Commission Certificate belonging to Arthur Holmes for the rank of Captain with Imperial Bushman Contingent.
