The Hague, Netherlands. C. 1945-03. The firing area and supply road for the German V2 rockets in the Hague-Duindigt district seen before the Fighter Command Spitfire bomber aircraft attacks in 1945-03. Transport vehicles were hidden in the surrounding woods. A large crater can be seen in the bottom of the picture, probably caused by a rocket that misfired. (Compare with image SUK14248).
