London, England. 1948-04-25. Surrounded by a large crowd is Lord Gowrie (right) as he walks down the steps beside Mr Mighell, Deputy High Commissioner, as they leave the Church of St Martin-in-the-Fields, after the Anzac Day Memorial Service. Following the men are their wives Lady Gowrie and Mrs Mighell. In the background can be seen the Mayor of Westminister, Hal Guteridge, 1st AIF (wearing chain of office).
