Sketchbook containing 37 pages of drawings of figures on board HMAT Runic

This work is one of a series of three sketchbooks made by Frederick Charles Bolton, on board HMAT 'Runic', a transport vessel that travelled from Sydney to London, embarking 22 March 1918 and arriving 24 May 1918. This sketchbook features drawings, with notes and signatures, depicting soldiers, boats and landscapes.
