Description
Diary 26 January 1942 - 24 October 1945, describing capture by the Japanese, imprisonment, and medical work among POWs in Thailand. Includes comments on Australian troops and doctors who were imprisoned with Welsh. Original diary is held by Imperial War Museum. Transcription with appendices and photographs also held by Imperial War Museum.
