Shipbusters
Description
Produced by the RAF Film Production Unit, Denham London. Immediately after the war an aircrew from each of the squadrons comprising the RAF Dallachy Strike Wing was detailed to take part in this production. The squadrons were 114 RAF, 404 RCAF, 455 RAAF and 489 RNZAF. From 455 Squadron the pilot was F/O Peter Ilbery and the navigator F/L Bill Bawden. The action air pictures are a composite of cine film taken from the nose cameras of Beaufighters compiled from a number of strikes.
