Description
Long Green area, South Vietnam. 1967-06. Members of A Squadron Headquarters, 3 Cavalry Regiment, sitting relaxing and reading during a quiet period. Left to right: 2412442 Lance Coproral Peter John Mann, the squadron commander's driver; 213843 Private Leonard Starkey, the Squadron's medical corporal (seated); 33647 Warrant Officer Class 2 (WO2) Ronald Studley "Slim" Kennard (seated) and 55076 Second Lieutenant Gerrit Nicholaas Quint. Note the flying suit, adopted as unofficial wear by many of the Regiment's members, drying on the radio aerials.
