Inside the courtyard commemorative area at the Australian War Memorial looking towards the Hall of Memory. Note the south facing windows of the Hall of Memory centre background. The windows were temporarily boarded up until the stained glass window pane was inserted into the window frame some years later. The Hall of Memory was completed in 1958. Aircrew of No. 73 Squadron RAAF pose on the western steps near the Pool of Reflection at the Australian War Memorial. Identified: 406371 Flying Officer Ken Rolfe, Pilot (right, wearing peak cap), and air gunners Geary and Lacy.
