Bowen, Qld. 1944-05-09. At No. 1 Flying Boat Maintenance Unit frontal view of a RAAF work boat (serial no. 010-17) for crew transport comes alongside a Martin PBM Mariner flying boat, serial no. A70-3, of No. 41 Squadron RAAF, which has been made fast to a buoy. The Mariner's captain is Squadron Leader S. R. C. Wood DFC.
