Description

A four page typed transcript of an interview conducted in 1995 by Sarah Applin, a Year 9 Lithgow school student at the time. Sarah interviewed her grandmother, Mrs Val Offner of Wallerawang about her homefront experiences during the Second World War, with topics including rationing, blackouts, employment, and feelings at the end of the war. This transcript was prepared for the Australia Remembers Writing Competition, for students throughout New South Wales.
