An Italian 47 mm shell case on which is punched in small dots the words "TOBRUK / CIRENAICA / LIBIA / 1941", and "W.J.P / QX17507".
History / Summary
This type of shell was fired by an Italian 47 mm anti tank gun, and later inscribed by Walter James Percival at Tobruk with his service number and his record of service.
