Description
Korea, c. 1950-11. A member of the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), examines an American 57mm anti-tank gun which battalion members have just found. The artillery piece had belonged to a Republic of Korea (ROK) regiment which had probably abandoned it. A piece of grass matting lies over the barrel as camouflage, while other mats and bunches of hay are heaped up in front of the weapon. (Donor I. Robertson)
