Collection relating to the volunteer service of Miss Evans during the 1919 influenza pandemic, New South Wales, c. 1920.
Wallet 1 of 1 - Contains a certificate issued by the Department of Public Health in New South Wales to Miss Evans acknowledging her volunteer service as an influenza worker attached to the Australian Red Cross, New South Wales Division, during "the pandemic of Pneumonic Influenza (1919)". The certificate has been signed by senior New South Wales public servants, Governor Sir Walter Davidson, Premier John Storey [signature is significantly faded] and the Minister of Public Health.
