Marburg a Drau, Yugoslavia. 1944. Studio portrait of prisoners of war (POWs) of the German POW camp No. 1046 GW. Left to right: Bill Jamieson, QX5378 Corporal Alec M. Connor, unidentified, George Shaw (with bald head), unidentified; front row: Bill Gosamer, unidentified, ? Lane. They were all members of the 2/15th Battalion except Lane who was with the 3rd Anti-Tank Regiment. The studio portraits were sent to the POWs' families to indicate how well they were being treated.
