Anzac Cove, Gallipoli. 1915-12-19. Interior of a trench occupied by members of No. 2 Field Company, Royal Australian Engineers, including Sergeant Cyril Lawrence. The photograph features the steps leading into the main trench. Note the loophole with sand bag packing in it in the right background and the bombs in the recess.
