Ramadie (Ramadi), Mesopotamia. 1917-09. A member of `G' Station, 1st Wireless Signal Squadron, Mesopotamian Expeditionary Force, operates a mobile wireless under a makeshift shelter in the desert during the battle for Ramadie. Around the two aerials are other men and horses of the Squadron which was supporting General Brooking's column during the battle of Ramadie.
