Papers of Hemery, war correspondent for Australian Broadcasting Commission (ABC), British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC)and International News Service (INS). Includes newspaper clippings, ID card, dispatches to ABC and BBC, scripts of news broadcasts, correspondence in 1967 regarding award of Asiatic-Pacific campaign ribbon, manuscript material, and two diaries for 1942 and 1943-44 covering work in Darwin and New Guinea, mentioning air raids, journalistic duties, and other correspondents. Also includes RAAF discharge certificate and four sketches.
