Poretta, Corsica, France. 12 May 1944. After a visit from German raiders, members of No. 451 (Spitfire) Squadron RAAF, based at Poretta airfield, suffered some damage from the air raid. Here two airmen inspect the damage to a truck which has fallen into a large crater.
