Description
Manuscript titled `A knockabout sort of a fellow' - Lynam's autobiography of his varied life which included a stint in the peacetime RAN and British Army before his World War II RAN service. His duties included diving on one of the Japanese submarines which entered Sydney Harbour and convoy escort duty in the South West Pacific, stopping at Moratai, Kok Island, Philippines, Sandakan and Macassar.
