Private David Antney of Rankin Springs, NSW, a member of 7th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (7RAR), picks a bullet from a can of peaches which was part of his canned rations prematurely opened by Viet Cong automatic rifle fire. The rations were in his pack which was close by during the ambush of a jungle track during Operation Coburg. The battalion was operating with other elements of the 1st Australian Task Force in Bien Hoa Province, twenty miles north-east of Saigon. (1ATF)
