Soldiers near the gates of the abandoned village in north eastern Phuoc Tuy Province, examine the bodies of eleven dead Viet Cong (VC) killed in a night ambush. The ambush was set with armoured personnel carriers (APCs) from 2 Troop, B Squadron, 3rd Cavalry Regiment, plus infantry from 1st Australian Task Force Defence and Employment Platoon and engineers.
