Phuoc Tuy Province, South Vietnam. 1968-07-09. Sergeant John Fitzpatrick of Ballarat, Vic, does his best to keep dry, by wearing a rain coat, during Vietnamese monsoon rains while on board his armoured personnel carrier (APC). Sergeant Fitzpatrick, a member of A Squadron, 3rd Cavalry Regiment, was taking part in Operation Blue Mountains, a five day sweep by Australians of the area north of the Long Hai Hills in south-east Phuoc Tuy Province.
