Description
Unopened white cardboard packet of cigarettes with an Arabic scene across the top of the packet lid, in red ink. 'BADDOUR LTD' is printed in red beneath Arabic text at the bottom. The packet is sealed horizontally across the midline with a white paper tape printed in red with 'SUPPLIED DUTY FREE FOR THE SOLE USE OF THE AUSTRALIAN IMPERIAL FORCES'.
History / Summary
Associated with SX126 Sergeant William Sydney Osborne-White. He enlisted in October 1939 and served at Kantara, Egypt, with 2/2 Australian General Hospital. He also served with 2/14 Australian General Hospital. Osborne-White was discharged in December 1945.
