Description
Australian Army, disruptive pattern camouflage, cotton cloth brassard. The brassard has an unofficial circular cloth patch at the top, which is green and printed with a bounding, gold coloured kangaroo across the centre. Below this is another circular cloth badge, a United Nations light blue globe emblem with United Nations written in English and French.
History / Summary
Associated with Lance Corporal Martin (Jock) Wallace. Wallace was a signaller with the first contingent (September 1991 – May 1992) to the United Nations Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara (MINURSO).
