Phuoc Tuy Province, South Vietnam. 1970-01. Julian, a Labrador tracker dog, with one of his handlers, Private (Pte) Len Taylor of Ringwood, Vic, during 'brew time' at Fire Support Base Peggy. Looking on is Pte Rusty Morley of Hobart, Tas. Julian has just joined 8th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (8RAR), and is beginning his third year in the war zone, having previously worked with 9RAR and, before that, 3RAR.
