Nui Dat, South Vietnam. March 1970. Sergeant Russell Tetlow of Sydney, NSW, with Private Dave Everitt of Adelaide, SA, and a Vietnamese sergeant, accompanied a former Viet Cong woman back to her home and family in the tiny hamlet of an Thanh. Le Thi Hoa (?Tran Thi Sinh), a 22 year old woman, had rallied to the South Vietnamese Government under the Chieu Hoi or Open Arms programme. She had not been home since 1965.
