Hue, South Vietnam. May 1970. Australian Army Training Team Vietnam (AATTV) adviser Warrant Officer Class 2 John McKenner of Riverstone, NSW, and formerly Echuca, Vic, leaves the American military compound in a motor vehicle to work with the 2nd Battalion, 3rd Regiment, 1st Vietnamese Division. With him is his boss, the senior adviser with the Battalion, Captain Dennis Ryan (behind the wheel).
