Nazir, Arakan, Burma. 31 March 1945. Warrant Officer R. C. Henning, RAAF of Bowen Hills, Qld, a pilot in No. 5 (Thunderbolt) Squadron RAF providing close support for the Fourteenth Army on the Burma front, leans on one of his bombs, while above him protrude four of the eight five inch machine guns with which his aircraft is armed.
