Vung Tau, South Vietnam. August 1971. Australian Army helicopter pilots undergoing intensive training on a new helicopter, the Kiowa OH58A, which was being introduced to replace the Bell Sioux. Sitting in a helicopter is Lieutenant Mick Reynolds of Ipswich, Qld (right), a member of 161st Independent Reconnaissance Flight, and with him is American training instructor, Captain Larry Elliot. They were having a pre-flight conference during the training course.
